I keep letting you in and every time I do
You manage to break me down even more
Every time I say 'We're through!'
I never make it out the door
Why am I failing to call it quits
Why do I let you make me cry
The same ol' story to so many befits
And I let you kill me inside
When my heart finally stops
And the world forgets to spin
I'll be there on top
Screaming within
You've ruined the sun in me that used to shine
Broke my spirit which used to soar
Please stop saying everything will be fine
You've managed to freeze my core
My love dispenser needs refilling
All my hope hangs by a thread
No longer am I blind and willing
Wearing the scars of everything you said
I blister when you touch me
And I hate your ignorant eyes
Nothing can set me free
From your childish lies
So all I can do is wait
All I can do is dream
Swimming through murky fate
Echo the hateful screams
The moment will come flying by
And I will have to move fast
Escape on the sly
Because you and I will never last
